Demi Moore has finally secured her first Golden Globe after an impressive career that spans more than four decades. The 62-year-old actress won the coveted award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in the horror film ‘The Substance’ at the Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday (early Monday morning in India).
Moore, still basking in the glow of her achievement, took to Instagram the following day to share her emotions with fans. In a heartfelt post, she posted a picture of herself grinning widely while holding her Golden Globe, expressing her shock and overwhelming joy.

“Woke up this morning still in shock but full of so much joy, love, and gratitude for this honor and recognition,” she wrote. “I am so deeply humbled and the little girl in me is saying F— YEAH!” she added, thanking the Golden Globes for the recognition.

The moment was made even more special as Moore’s three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis—shared their excitement and pride on social media.
Rumer, 36, expressed how proud she was of her mother, writing, “What a gift to witness you shine and be acknowledged not only for the incredible work you did in this film but in the multitude of staggeringly breathtaking work your entire career,” and added, “This is just the beginning.”
Scout also shared her pride, writing, “I am so beyond proud, my entire body is buzzing. I am so overwhelmed with joy and pride and gratitude!!” Meanwhile, Tallulah called her mother “the greatest teacher.”
Moore also shared a video of the joyous moment with her family, where she triumphantly held up her Golden Globe, shouting, “I love you guys!”
During her emotional acceptance speech, Demi Moore admitted, “I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor.”
She added, “I’m just so humbled and so grateful.” Moore also shared a piece of advice she had received years ago: “Just know you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.”
